Partial summary of the novel (changes might be made to the donghua)
everyone believes he is dead except for his family and Xu Xin, who are holding out hope
The scorpion and vulture couple covertly attacks Luo Feng's family
Luo Hua sells one of those spirits of nature and buys shares in a bank becoming a large shareholder, with that status he also has a private army that protects them, but his parents are still injured
Xu Xin withdraws from studying at uni or college and becomes depressed (this is a hint of her mindset later on in the novel when something happens to Luo Feng, it was compunded by the fact she just had given birth to Luo Feng's twins and post natal depression set in) Her family leaves her to grieve, as she is the favourite grand daughter and no amount of convincing would have achieved anything
Hong takes back the black god armor set and the jet fighter
Luo Feng comes out after a year and three months, he has a very long beard and is covered with grime, he shocks those guarding and researching the site and takes a shower. He has been surviving only on water given to him by the AI (dont ask me whether he pooped or what I dunno :P)
He calls his family and finds Luo Hua sounding strange
Xu Xin was at a cafe when a random guy tried to hit on her by asking to borrow her phone when she tells him to get lost the phone rings with a sad ringtone (later on we find out it is "Tomorrow I will marry you" sang by Wong Fei ) The guy thinks to himself the photo that popped out looked like a pighead. It was pighead.. I mean Luo Feng calling, his call causes her to be very happy and she begins to smile again
Relevant authorities are notified that he has returned
Hong quickly returns the armor and jet fighter upon hearing he has returned, and personally sets out to greet Luo feng
Luo Feng gives a set of black god armor as promised to Hong, unaware of Hong's actions, Hong is relieved and a little embarrassed for his previous action lol
Luo Feng finds out his father is in hospital and mother cant sleep because of the covert attacks made by the vulture scorpion couple and he goes and find them
The couple realising Luo Feng has returned attempts fly to to Europe but was stopped by Luo Feng at the airport, Li Yao was defeated but just as he was about to kill him, Venina told him if he did she will detonate bombs around the airport and kill innocent lives, she shifts the blame and responsibilities onto Luo Feng
War Gods arrive and tries to stop Luo Feng but to no avail, but one of them tells him it isnt worth it, as there are witnesses, what Luo Feng is doing is an act against the rules of the War God Palace, punishable by death
Luo Feng relents and goes and obtain evidence of the couple's actions and submits it to the War God Palace, he is promoted as a Representative, which means he is now part of an exclusive group just under Hong and Leishen
The War God Palace summons a council of war gods (virtually not physically) and a trial is held, the couple is found guilty and is sentenced to death
The couple is taken to a remote area to be executed, Luo Feng is permitted to follow. Venina is decapitated and as she dies Li Yao breaks through into the surpassing the advanced war god level and escapes, his special ability was assumed to be light as his speed reached light speed, if he broke through earlier he would have been almost untouchable like Luo Feng and have become Representative as well but it was too late and in the end he was killed by Luo Feng

Damn that was indeed a great explanation of the events to come, but let me ask you do you feel like since you already know what's to come, it kinda ruin the vibe of suspense like you don't get surprised how this went down, cause you already know what's going to happen. Also and I know it sound cruel of me to say this, or inhuman but what that scorpion/ snake couple being doing to him, and now his family I don't care i'm going say it ( i'm glad she finally gets her unsavory desserts handed to her by getting her head cut clean off) XD.

Not necessary true since there are times when the studio will change the story a little and also it's been a while since I read the novel, so there are things I might have forgotten

For example they made Candice more honorable than he was
Elder Farr was supposed to be a man (I think, cant remember lol)
The scene when Sun Chao bought the car for Xu Xin wasnt in the novel

So events like that will often surprise me, not to mention it is often good to see how they animate it, as reading and imagining what you read might not be the same as when it is animated

Yea I get what you mean to how you imagine the scene would play out to watching it animated play out. but I'm saying like key events the major factors in the story. Even if they change bits of pieces from the novel to better fit with the show those events still are the same to some degree like him being trapped in that space room, for more then a year to the part where Yao wife gets killed will they change how her execution go's down stuff like that.

Well, the time limit is 3 years, and seeing it's a test, it must be possible within that time right? So I'd assume 3 years, maybe less... I'm just hoping we get to skip the 3 years, and next episode get to see him solve it, and meet his family again

It was so confusing with the whole 3 year vs 3 months.
3 years was the test, right? And the 3 months was the limit till presumed dead, correct?

lol it is fine I will try and explain it using parts of the novel

In the novel:

The AI says:
“The death mission requires you to: break out of the testing room within three years!”
“If you cannot break out of the testing room within three years, then you fail”
“Failure, means death!”

While Luo Feng says:
Luo Feng’s gaze was as sharp as a knife as he scanned across the diagrams and words of the instruction manual, “if you give me three years, then I will break out of this testing room within three months” Because he knew if he doesnt he will be presumed dead by people outside the site

The longest anyone that came out of that particular site alive is half a month, so the Wuxian Hall decided to extend the time to 3 months before pronouncing those that didnt to have died (the author wrote double the half a month, he cant count lol)

Why the heck Hong took back fighter jet as it was purchased by Lou feng through his merit points and god armour was a gift so he could take it back.Atleast that ungrateful hall could protect his family they were tossed aside like its nothing. Later babata changed the 1st and 2nd owner and now hong can't take back his jet .Hong was given 1st authority of Lou fengs jet so Hong can see what Lou feng is doing inside the jet but I think Hong never spied on him.i am happy Lou feng didn't tell them about babata later on.This humanity and his hall doesn't deserve Lou feng life .

Luo Feng will most probably have to use his Psychic power to break the room. I just hope they don't take more than one episode to clear it. I wonder how they will depict Luo Feng breaking the room and escape.
